Who needs a Cub Scout to make Pinewood Derby Cars??? We don't!!! Besides since I'm a Wolf Den Leader and the boys help me out as Den Chiefs it's kind of like we are Cub Scouts so we spent an FHE making cars.
It's super nice having boys responsible enough to cut out their own cars. They helped a couple of my Cub Scouts cut their cars too.
Rose made a mermaid design. It was super important to Rose that the mermaid had a realistic flipping tail.
Ginger wanted a block of cheese with a mouse on it.
The boys were super serious about this race (as in the races they had while the track was being set-up). They had a bet going over who won, loser had to do chores.
It was a fun craft for the kids to work on. Nathan studied a Secrets of Pinewood Derby Cars books and went for the fastest design. For the record Nathan won 4 out of 4 races! Darin made a Minecraft Creeper car.
