Bishop's Birthday

Ken and the Seminary kids decorated the RS room at the church to celebrate the Bishop's birthday at mutual.  Of course the boys stayed after to clean it up too since Ken has to stay to lock up.  They were so sweet and packed the truck full off balloons to surprise their sisters.  Can I just say the girls have the best big brothers EVER!!!  Darin and Nathan were gone at seminary when the girls woke up to find a pile of balloons outside their door.  They were so happy!!  Rose and Ginger each had 3-4 clusters of balloons.

When the boys got home from seminary I had to prompt the girls to give them hugs and say thank you.  Rose and Ginger don't seem to realize what a big deal it is to have big brothers who always think of fun ways to treat them.  They are just so used to it, so I got on their case hard:(  They ended up attacking their brothers in the end.

Later that day, their friends (our Bishop's little daughters) came over to stay the night while their parents celebrated the Bishop's birthday in Dallas.  My girls were in Heaven!  They had so much fun playing.  This is Ginger showing us how her class walked all funny this afternoon at school.
We don't do sleepovers normally unless friends parents are out of town so this was a super special treat for Rose and Ginger.  These funny girls who have the hardest time waking up in the morning at 6:30am usually woke-up at 5am with their friends.  Can't miss out on a moment of playing I suppose.

The boys came home from seminary and offered to ride all the girls to school.  I totally appreciated it!  The girls didn't because Darin and Nathan are so protective that one took the front and the other took the back.
As it turns out it was also Ginger's friend's birthday and her Dad's too.  Ginger, Brynlie, and Ken went to a fun bowling party with both of them to celebrate.  Lots of fun birthdays this day!
