Rose's birthday this year was on Mother's Day so we celebrated the day before so she could have a special breakfast and I could have my special breakfast. She requested french toast.
She was really happy to open her presents a day early.
Ken and I got her a mermaid tail. It is actually one with fins and everything that you can swim in!
Rosebud has always been obsessed with mermaids and has been begging us to get her one for her birthday.
It took a few strong brothers to help her put it on.

She was one happy, happy girl!
The siblings gave her Hedbanz which we have been playing constantly the past few days. I'm super terrible at it.

Lola and Papa came over for breakfast and also gave Rose her present early. Lucky girl got the other thing she has been dying for...Horse Riding Lessons!
Her appointment was right afterwards and she had so much fun!
When she got home from her horseback riding lessons, Ken took Rose and the other kids to the pool so she could try out her new flippers.
The next day after Mother's Day festivities we did Rose's special dinner and cake. We sure do love our Rosebud! She is such a sweet 9 year old. We are so proud of how she has been trying to learn and grow this past year since she was baptized.
