Heart full of Gratitude

Probably because of all the business trips that Ken has been making the past 3 months our Thanksgiving was really focused on our relationships with each other. My heart is full with gratitude for all of the special relationships and moments that I treasure. Things like:

Daddy's Dancing with their Girls
Rose and Ginger really miss their Daddy when he is out of town. I think it is harder on them, then it is on me and the boys.

It is sad that he is traveling more for business trips. But the part that we LOVE about his job is that when he is home he is totally home.

Ken is able to work around us, have lunch with us each day, go to special events at the boys school, and he especially takes time each morning after the boys go off to school to play a games with the girls like Duck, Duck, Goose or Ring around the Rosey, Candyland, or other games.

It is sad when he is gone, but alot of that is because he is so involved and makes a huge impact when he is home!

My Pairs of Children!
We are so thankful that our children each have a sibling that is close in age. The boys have always been two peas in a pod. And it truly has not changed. They are best buds!

Rose and Ginger were not immediately super close the first year or so. But over the past year they have grown very close.

Grandparents who make my children feel special

We really enjoy Lola and Papa living near. Our children love them so much and feel so much love from them!

Boys who work so hard at School and at Home!
Unfortunately it seems like we do not have enough time to celebrate their hard work as much as we want. They are such busy little boys, but we make a point to whenever report cards come out. This one was when we went to Gatti Land.

Beautiful Sibling Relationships
My boys are great big brothers. They are so patient and loving with the girls. It's really sweet to catch them snuggling with each other.


Little Girls who Steal Socks
Our girls can get into quite a bit of naughtiness, but it brings so much joy into our home. We spend so much of our time doting on their cuteness and forays into exploring how the world works. This one is of Ginger. She loves taking socks off of Ken, me, and the Boys and then trys to put them on her feet.

Patient Coaches who Foster our Son's Passions!
Nathan loves Soccer, this is his coach for the last 4 seasons. He is an incredibly patient man, who is also a great example of a good sportsman.

Also, at the boys school the teachers put together an intra-mural Basketball League. Both of my boys have LOVED participating and I am thankful that the teachers put in extra time to run this fun league for the children's!

And finally for Old, Patient Dogs who Love us Unconditionally!
