Darin and Nathan were so excited to try out for their Middle School Soccer Team. They have been talking about it all year, Nathan more than anyone. Nathan elected to not play recreational soccer this year and instead ref'd soccer games. The tryouts were harder than they expected but the boys both thought they would make the team.
Unfortunately they did NOT make the team:( But they had fun anyways and we were really proud of the effort they made preparing for tryouts and their attitude. They really encouraged each other and it was sweet to overhear one of them sharing their fears that they wouldn't make it to only have the other brother assure them that they would. Then the next day they would reverse roles and truly uplift each other. I love that they are so close and they always have each others back.
