Darin was super excited to get his Learners Permit! He started doing his online drivers training in class over Christmas Break. That's pretty eager. His birthday fell on a Sunday and we had a kind of crazy Monday, but the Tuesday after we took him to DMV.
Actually we took him to the DMV twice. Darin had all his ducks in a row but they gave us a hard time about needing additional paperwork because we are in our rental. Lame, another inconvenience caused by our builder:(
But, Darin passed the tests! We have a permitted driver!!
He wanted to drive home from the DMV. We weren't too sure about that since it was totally raining. After we had a little celebratory lunch Darin took his first drive to his high school. It was pretty exciting! Okay, and just a little nerve-wracking, but Darin did a great job.
