Spring Sports Begins!

Spring Sports Season started this past Saturday!  It's been a couple of years since we were in the sports scene.  At least as far as practices and games goes.  The boys have been ref-fing soccer but they had decided to stop being on teams because their teams got more competitive and time consuming and less fun.

Darin had to be at the fields at 7:30 am to ref.  He was pretty happy to get games on opening day.  It's a good thing he did too because he is busy a lot of the Saturdays over the next couple of months.
Ginger started playing soccer for the first time!  She's super happy that her team is called the Pfirecrackers!  She's a natural, or it could be because she plays with her siblings.
Nathan had three games to ref in the afternoon.  Blending into the referee building.
Nathan was ref'fing during Ginger's game a couple of fields over.  He actually was a line ref with a Dad and son from our previous ward.
Nice big brother Darin switched seats with Rose and sat in her little princess chair for part of Ginger's game.  He has really grown into a big boy!
And in the afternoon Rose had a Volleyball Skills clinic.  She starts playing volleyball next week and got to learn the basics.  Showing off her serve.
Modeling her flat board and smiley face.  She loved going to the clinic and we stayed after for a bit and played around together.  Rose's team is called Lil' Mad Monkeys.
It's probably going to be quite crazy the next couple of months.  I hope I can survive it but it seemed like perfect timing for the girls to try out sports before our baby comes.  I just hope I can manage their game times.  Ken and the boys have tons of campouts and church activities so it'll just be me running them to their games most of the Saturdays.
