A Day of Rest

After 4 days of playing hard in the surf and sand it was time for a rest. Sunday was the perfect opportunity to to relax and rest.
And to go to church.
We packed so fast that we didn't really bring much of Sunday clothes, so we are a little vacation casual:-)
We rode the bus into downtown Cancun and had to walk about 7 blocks to the church. However on the way to church we turned down the wrong road and walked double that so we were pretty hot and sweaty when we found the chapel.
The interesting thing was that this chapel was bigger then the one we go to in Texas. At least it was deeper. The ward was very tiny. There were 5 tourist families visiting and we seemed to account for a quarter of the people. But I really think the whole building was bigger then the one we normally go to.
The girls got a little lazy walking back to the bus.
The children were pretty excited about all the iguanas we saw on the side of the road.
These guys were huge! Somewhere between 1 and 2 feet long.

Ginger was especially excited about them.
We spent the rest of the day playing scrabble, going through pictures, and just hanging out.
