Traditions

Our kids, mainly Nathan and Darin, really wanted to make sure that even though we were going to Cancun for Christmas that we still did all of our normal traditions. It's amazing how the smallest thing could have stopped our kids from wanting to go with us.

So, I packed two suitcases full of things we normally do during the Christmas Season. Goodies to be baked, Gingerbread Houses to assemble, and our 12 days of Christmas.

We had a great time assembling the Gingerbread Houses. Some of the other traditions didn't go over quite as well because most of the time one of the girls would fall asleep before dinner.

This was one of our 12 days of Christmas. They got a HUGE set of reese's peanut butter cups.

It was so big that they loved to put the wrapper on their heads. The especially loved us calling them Organ Grinder Monkeys!

That's so cool that you packed all of your traditions! You are so great at making things fun and going all out for your kiddos. What an awesome mommy you are.

You are an amazing mom. I don't know how you have the energy to do all those fun things all the time. I also don't get how you guys manage the coolest vacations. Just trying to find a hotel to sleep our whole family is almost impossible!
