Nathan's Bad Luck

Poor Nathan has been having an awful, terrible, no-good week!  

It started on Monday when he was playing airsoft with Ken, Darin, and some friends from church.  He got one of his front teeth shot out by an airsoft gun.  To add insult to injury the neighbor of one of our friends who did it didn't even apologize to him. Nothing. Nada. Not even a simple "I'm sorry."  I think Nathan was much more upset about that then the tooth.  Well, maybe not but it didn't help matters.   I think a large part too is because the guy was much older (like older then Dad:) so he should have cared a little, right?

Then Tuesday night Nathan got up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and he had another major seizure.  It hit him in the bathroom just as he was turning to go back to bed.  It lasted about 3 minutes.  Darin heard Nathan cry for help before he went unconscious and did an amazing job taking care of him.  

He ended up missing the first day back to school after Christmas vacation.  Then the poor guy spent most of the week at various appointments for seizures like bloodwork and EGG's.  Including extra ones to get his tooth fixed.  Luckily that didn't have to do a root canal but he had to get a cap on his tooth and they had to numb him up really well because it was so close to the nerve.
