A couple of weeks ago we went to my sister's house for a day trip and to celebrate Ella's 1st birthday. Isn't she so beautiful!
My sister made these cute watermelon cupcakes. They were pretty yummy too!
And we all enjoyed her awesome swimming pool. Everytime we visit her, it makes me really, really want one! We forgot the girls usual floaty stuff. But Rose decided that shouldn't hold her back. She would run and jump into the pool like it was nothing.
Do you think Rose was just jumping to her dad??? NO! She was trying to jump over her dad. Seriously, she is a fish. She just doggy-paddled over to the side of the pool and then did it again. You would not believe her fury if you tried to catch her or help her swim. She is a big 4 year old afteall.
Darin is trying to be one of those sly minnows. Mainly because he hates being caught and being the shark.
This is Abby, my niece. She is a pretty fish too.
Nathan being a minnow too. He has gotten pretty good at diving this summer.
This is my other niece Cass doing one of her silly jumps into the pool.
Ginger had fun swimming too. We forgot her floaty too, but she hung onto that noodle for a couple of hours. Then swam a few more hours too. Ginger crashed in the car on the way home like half a block from my sisters house. They swam so hard all day long.

The rest are picture Cass and her friend took with new camera. Ken bought one that can go underwater (in anticipation of our next great beach vacation full of snorkeling) and shatter-proof and shock resistant (in anticipation of all of his Scouting adventures). They had fun trying out the underwater part.
