Day Hike to Enchanted Rock

Darin and the other boys in his patrol, posing after their first 5 mile hike without a complaint! (And the rest of the proud fathers, BTW-This is written by his proud father:-)
Now after having a few more moments to catch their breath, and smiling now! I am having so much fun with the Scouts!

Enchanted Rock, quite a fun (although dry) hike. We made it round the entire raised rock area in great time!

Here is Darin, toughing the hike out after getting his feet, socks, and shoes wet after the first mile while we crossed a stream. Now he is emptying out the rocks in his shoes.

There is the happy hiker who came and conquered the rock!

We Made It! It was a great day!
