My mom commented to me yesterday that Ken looked like he had lost weight since we have been gone on vacation. Ken doesn't think so, but he has had some pretty strenuous workouts with the girls...
He started carrying the girls on the bookie boards out into the middle of the waves and then letting them ride the waves in by themselves. Waiting for a good wave.Sending her off.
She rode it all the way in!
Who-Hoo! He is one proud Dad!
Again! Again! Again!
Whoops, the wave got her this time.
Ginger was infatuated with going out with Ken the first few days. He tried to talk Rose into it but she just wanted to ride the boogie boards by herself.
Whew! That is one very tired Daddy!
Ken was finally able to talk Rose into going out with him.
Ken said that Rose really, really loved being carried over the waves. She was giggling the whole time.
Setting up
Riding it in.
Sending her off looks like hard work too.
But not as hard as carrying her over waves. Really with Ginger weighing close to 50 lbs and Rose weighing about 60lbs. That's kind of alot to be carrying on a platter:-)
In other exercise updates. Ken and I have been walking on the beach a few mornings or swimming laps in the pool. We haven't been stressing about keeping up our workouts since we play in the ocean or at the pool for 3-5 hours each day plus it's vacation. At home we have discovered that we really like running together but we haven't done that for a month now and I am really looking forward to when we can start again. We brought our running shoes but it is just so hot that we are preferring to exercise in the water.

Stephanie, your vacation looks like so much fun! I must admit I'm a little jealous. That ocean water is really beautiful. Tell the girls to ride a few waves for me :-)
