Quick Trip to Dallas

Ken had to go up to Dallas for a quick business trip the day after Darin's birthday.  We decided to all go up with him and left the night before and play hooky from school.  Who can resist a free hotel stay and free breakfast!

Ken was about the only who was wide awake and looking chipper.

They children certainly woke-up when it came time to swim.  Ken arranged for us to check out of the hotel super late so we were able to spend our day at the pool.  I don't know why he doesn't enjoy business trips as much as we do???  Oh yeah, that's because he has to actually work.  We on the other hand certainly lived it up and had a wonderful time!

My tired girls, it was a fun day of swimming.  It was so nice to have a break from regular duties, if only for a day!
