Poor Rose

Poor Rose had a rough go of it for nearly two weeks.  It took 3 doctor appointments, two x-rays, and 2 blood draws to get her healthy.  It started with cold symptoms.  But it turned out our baby girl got and ear infection, then pneumonia, only to discover her whole body was shutting down with a urinary tract infection.  It was terrible.  She had super high fevers and was so uncomfortable.

I am thankful for our pediatrician.  She called nearly everyday to check on Rose's progress and had me bring her back in for free re-checks. 

Lola made Rose chicken soup and rice, which she loves!  Rose also loved watching Peter Pan (not the cartoon version).  She must have watched it 2 times a day.  Which I guess doesn't sound like much for someone who has nothing to do but stay in bed.  Poor Rose was so worn out and tired from fighting all her infections.  She ended up needing two different anti-biotics.
